Skills

This version of the Online trainers' toolkit has been designed to run on version 4 or later browsers without the need for plug ins, server extensions or any other add ons.

Delivery
The toolkit allows you to produce straightforward web pages that will run on version 4 or later of either Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. It makes no difference what web server you are using and there is no interaction with the server other than the retrieval of standard web pages and images.

Pages produced using the templates will run on any screen resolution from 800x600 upwards, in 256 colour mode or greater.

Development
It makes no difference what tools you use to edit your HTML pages. Microsoft FrontPage 2000 was used to develop the toolkit, but that doesn't mean you have to use the same tool.pixel.gif (807 bytes)

Skills
The toolkit is not foolproof. To customise the templates, you must be capable of making simple edits to HTML and JavaScript code - although there is no reason why you should necessarily understand what these do. The edits are well documented and should not prove difficult to any confident computer user.

You may want to make major modifications to the templates or to add more of your own. Again this is not particularly difficult, but will require you to have access to technical expertise.../images/pixel.gif (807 bytes)
